Metro's Pros and Cons - Archie Sonic
Same as yesterday but now I'm looking at the comics. Just a reminder this is all an opinion.
-----Extremely expansive and arcing story lines
------Each character has a unique and virtually realistic personality in contrast to the Sega counterparts
------Well crafted art direction in the comic books
------Creates a new and unique continuity to the franchise
------Packed to the brim with major villains who are nicely designed
------Writers make the effort to keep the continuity balanced
------New characters are treated fairly and get at least a decent amount of screen time
------The comics have been around for quiet some time
------Gone on record as the longest running comic series based on a video game
------The franchise fanbase is divided (like always) on the comics, some find them entertaining others find them a waste of time
------Like a lot of long running comic book series, It's easy for newcomers to get lost and confused if they jump into the middle of the
Metro's Pros and Cons - Sonic Games
Me ranting on the hate for the Archie sonic comics is becoming a personal trend(rather you're sick of it or not). Today I decided to weigh in more pros and cons of both the games and the comics. Now all of this IS MY OPINION remember this please. So here we go.
------Depending on your taste they can be ridiculously fun
------The stories are simple lately
------Lately they only consist of one or two protagonist(Sonic being the lead Tails being the sidekick)
------One major villain
------New players can easily pick up and play
------While you may not agree (and I don't either) the franchise does have a large enough and loyal following to keep it afloat
------Been around for a LONG time. Considered a veteran of the industry
------Sega makes an attempt to favor it's demographic
------One of the few games that is keeping the "Platformer" genre alive
------The music is some of the most memorable and catchy in all of gaming
------Sonic is easily recognizable even to non gamers
Metro vs Anti Archie Sonic
*sigh* I know I've pretty much beaten this subject into the ground so far that I'm almost at the earth's core but, alas...it just keeps coming up in my subconscious. Part of the fucking problem is that I can't search for Sonic The Hedgehog artwork by fantastic artist without coming across these assholes.
This is a group of individuals who have their headquarters here at DeviantArt. They devote their time to bashing others who like the comic, expressing copious amounts of hate for the comics in general, and express negative opinions on the writers (primarily head writer Ian Flynn) and pretty much anyone related to the comic. Again, they're quiet annoying like the rest of the bad seeds of the sonic fanbase...but, that's what happens right.
If there's one thing I learned from being a part of the sonic fandom it's be careful what you like because even if it's minimal there will be someone who absolutely hates it. Look at it this way there are people who hate Sonic because of the buck
Sonic - A Fanbase Made Of Broken Glass Pt.7Part 7
Settings and Environments
This will be my last (I hope) segment of the Sonic fanbase rant. I will try to keep this short so I can go ahead and wrap this up to move onto other things in my concense. I can't stand leaving something incomplete because eventually it'll nag me into oblivion even if it's something small. But without further a deux here's Part 7...
If there's one thing I've continually enjoyed it's the visual aesthetics of the comic. YOU CANNOT DENY that the artists put a ton of work into making the characters and the environment look believable. I enjoy the world of mobius because they do a good job of making it seem like a real location. Knothole village has to be one of the most interseting to me. it started out as this highly populated area hidden by woodlands until it was converted into the site of the Freedom Fighters to repel Robotnik's attacks. How the characters interact and fit into the world is a complete 1 up in my opinion.

We are not those folks that need an occasion to try. And that’s what they call it, too. Trying. As if the very idea of it is taxing. It’s not taxing and we are not those people.
No. We do not go by some magical calendar. Schedules aren’t really our thing in general. That’d be too organized. Too stuffy. Too… I don’t know… too planned. And we’re not the type of people whom plan.
If we could—plan—our lives would be much different. I think. It’s hard to say because this is how we’ve always been.
Our very togetherness is a result of impulse. I’m almost certain that the amount of time it took us to decide to move in together was significantly shorter than the amount of time it took us to remember each other’s names. We might have had our first conversation moments after that first… what I mean to say is we didn’t plan. Because planning would have been much t
