Sonic - A Fanbase Made Of Broken Glass Pt.7Part 7
Settings and Environments
This will be my last (I hope) segment of the Sonic fanbase rant. I will try to keep this short so I can go ahead and wrap this up to move onto other things in my concense. I can't stand leaving something incomplete because eventually it'll nag me into oblivion even if it's something small. But without further a deux here's Part 7...
If there's one thing I've continually enjoyed it's the visual aesthetics of the comic. YOU CANNOT DENY that the artists put a ton of work into making the characters and the environment look believable. I enjoy the world of mobius because they do a good job of making it seem like a real location. Knothole village has to be one of the most interseting to me. it started out as this highly populated area hidden by woodlands until it was converted into the site of the Freedom Fighters to repel Robotnik's attacks. How the characters interact and fit into the world is a complete 1 up in my opinion.
I hear some people en
Metro Reviews - Dead Island
Intro: Now I originally took down my Dead Island review comic....because i wasn't satisfied with it in the slightest. I'll Admit that it was rushed and in pretty low quality so I decided to dispose of it. I plan on starting a chain of reviews in a particular style that you maybe familiar with and is more comfortable. I will be looking at these distinct categories as I structure the review: Intro, Story, Gameplay, Character, Music, Conclusion, and lastly Rating. So let's get started.
Story: The real extent of the story is that four survivors must band together in order to get through a zombie infested island by the name of Banoi. Along the way the four heroes will encounter other people struggling to keep alive and in need of assistance.....that's pretty much it. I know there's a FUCK load of other things I would've went over
GTA V HatedomToday while I'm playing the game in question I'll be talking about the...hate that it has garnered. Now the Deviant (who will remain anon but you'll probably know who it he) is actually a great artist who does "Zero Punctuation" styled game review comic stripes. I view them, get a good laugh, and be on my way to do what ever elso on the internet. But there's on particular review that has gotten my attention..well his recent GTA V review of course. Now I'm going to say it now his opinion of the game...is mixed for me. I feel that he only focused on what negative aspects of the game he could find and said the game basically doesn't deserve to be set on a pedestal. I for when think that all the praise it's gotten is warranted but the hate for it seems like people's expectations were way, way, WAY too much high for Rockstar
He criticizes the game for 1.the activities, 2. the unnecessary time in the in game instructions, 3.the lack of options during the heist missions, 4.the "inconsistent"
Sonic - A Fanbase Made Of Broken Glass Pt.6Part 6
This next segment will be about the Villains in the Archie Sonic Comic and how they're are viewed and treated. First I would like the say that this comic has a slew of pretty good and well designed villains who all fit with the Sonic universe. There's Mammoth Mogul, Enerjak, Ixis Naugus, The Destructix, Fang the sniper, etc this is just to name a few. They all seem to fit in this little world of Mobius that seems more immersive than the reused enviornments in the games...but the setting of the comic is for another day.
They all have their own personality and motives that makes sense in it all. My favorite would have to be enerjak because he has an interesting back story by not being just one person. He can pretty much has different incarnations which all blend in pretty well. I would say that I'd like to see Sega cross over and use him as a villain but I'm afraid he'll end up with Sega Villain Syndrome. What's that you ask well it's when a villain of a Sonic game shows o
