Metro vs Anti Archie Sonic

*sigh* I know I've pretty much beaten this subject into the ground so far that I'm almost at the earth's core but, alas...it just keeps coming up in my subconscious. Part of the fucking problem is that I can't search for Sonic The Hedgehog artwork by fantastic artist without coming across these assholes.

This is a group of individuals who have their headquarters here at DeviantArt. They devote their time to bashing others who like the comic, expressing copious amounts of hate for the comics in general, and express negative opinions on the writers (primarily head writer Ian Flynn) and pretty much anyone related to the comic. Again, they're quiet annoying like the rest of the bad seeds of the sonic fanbase...but, that's what happens right.
If there's one thing I learned from being a part of the sonic fandom it's be careful what you like because even if it's minimal there will be someone who absolutely  hates it. Look at it this way there are people who hate Sonic because of the buckle on his shoe...*Facepalm* WHAT!!!!!!!

One of my theories on why people hate the comics is that they're too clingy. They can't seem to let go of past regressions so they use those to support thier arguements on why they think the comics suck today. They always pull bullshit issue number whatever to support how Sonic's a jerk or how a writer screwed up. Speaking of which do I need to bring up the games again (where most of you base the character's personalities on) I have a...distaste for sonic's newer personality. It seems mixed for me on one side I think he does okay of being a clear character on the other I find him COMPLETELY inseparable to the point of his "brodude" personality seems to lag and get in the way of other interesting characters.

Now speaking of the writers.....yeah I can even say they've screwed every once in a while but does that mean we should hold it against them for all of eternity like the jack ass Anti Archie Sonic does...short answer: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! If you want them to get better then stop bingeing on the past an focus on how you can make the future. Thaat's the same problem with the fanbase in general, you people are so blinded by nostalgia that you won't let Sega move on from classsic sonic. Not all your faults though in fact Sega does most of the enabling by baby feeding what you want because they crack under pressure so easily and the fanbase is so broken, dysfunctional and scattered that they have no idea what to do.

So yeah I kinda do expect to find a club like this hell there's an Anti Sally club, Anti Amy club, Anti Tails club, Pro Shadow club THERE"S A CLUB FOR COMIC, CHARACTER AND OBJECT RELATED TO THE SONIC FRANCHISE. Why shouldn't their be a club for the trash and the worshippers to go but me....i just read them by my own leisure. Anti Archie Sonic you guys can continue to waste your "valuable" time reading something you don't like then bitching about it because it's not the comic you envision.
